Ansible role: Gitlab

Install and configure a Gitlab server

Requirements

Ansible >= 2.9
Debian Buster

Role variables

gitlab_url - set the gitlab url (default: http://gitlab.example.com)
gitlab_data_dir - set the path for repository
gitlab_config - set the config

  grafana:
    enabled: false
  gitlab_rails:
    backup_keep_time: 604800
    backup_archive_permissions: 0644

How to use

- hosts: server
  roles:
    - gitlab

Development

Test with molecule and docker

install docker
install python3 and python3-pip
install molecule and dependencies pip3 install molecule 'molecule[docker]' docker ansible-lint testinfra yamllint
run molecule test
