Ansible role: Gitea

Version License

Install gitea (a self-hosted git service) from the binary

Requirements

None

Role variables

  • gitea_version - the gitea version to install (see: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/releases)
  • gitea_architecture - the binary architecture to install (default: linux-amd64)
  • gitea_port - the gitea bind port (default: 3000)
  • gitea_user - the user name for gitea user (default: gitea)
  • gitea_group - the group name for gitea user (default: gitea)
  • gitea_uid - the user id for gitea user (default: 990)
  • gitea_gid - the group id for gitea user (default: 990)
  • gitea_home - the home directory for gitea user (default: /home/{{ gitea_user }})
  • gitea_repository_directory - the git repositories directory (default: '{{ gitea_home }}/data/repositories')
  • gitea_log_directory - the gitea log directory (default: {{ gitea_home }}/log)

How to use

  • Install:
- hosts: git-server
  roles:
    - gitea

Development

Tests with docker

  • install docker
  • install ruby
  • install bundler gem install bundler
  • install dependencies bundle install
  • run the tests kitchen test
